Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow

Taz Shah joined Hunger Free Oklahoma in September 2021 as a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow. Taz is a Baton Rouge native with a background in local-level housing insecurity, food insecurity, and nutrition programming and policy research in Baltimore, MD and Sacramento, CA. She is especially passionate about elevating the voices of those with lived experience of hunger and poverty and removing stigma around food insecurity.

Taz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health Studies from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
