SNAP Outreach Coordinator
Faida Hussein is from the Democratic Republic of Congo and moved to America 15 years ago. Her background is in nutrition and food science. She completed her undergraduate degree at Eastern Kentucky University and is currently working on her Masters at the University of Central Oklahoma. After graduating in 2017, she worked with a nonprofit organization as a community nutrition educator. She developed a passion for helping others and wanted to help find solutions to food insecurity. Recently, Faida has joined Hunger Free Oklahoma as a SNAP Outreach Coordinator and hopes to continue helping others domestically and hopefully internationally one day. In her free time, Faida enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.
