Hunger Outreach Program Specialist (HOPS) – Tulsa
The Hunger Outreach Program Specialist will join the Hunger Free Oklahoma Tulsa office in support of federal nutrition program expansion in eastern Oklahoma, with a focus on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This position will empower organizations, schools, and agencies to connect eligible Oklahomans with SNAP benefits, through outreach, training, technical assistance, and leveraging our partners’ available resources. This position will primarily focus on expanding access and awareness to SNAP, providing backbone and collective impact support to the Tulsa Food Security Council, and supporting our work across other focus areas. The Hunger Outreach Program Specialist reports directly to the Tulsa Regional Program Manager.
Salary range starts at $45,000 and is commensurate with experience.
Communications and Public Relations Manager – OKC or Tulsa
Are you a communications professional who is passionate about improving the lives of Oklahomans? Hunger Free Oklahoma works statewide to leverage the power of collaboration to solve hunger in Oklahoma and we are searching for our next communications manager. We’re looking for someone who enjoys using communication strategies to directly impact change. We’re looking for someone with experience in media relations, social media and graphic design who wants to use those skills to help end hunger across all 77 counties. We collaborate with many organizations and government entities to improve food systems, policies, and practices; we need a communications manager to strengthen our brand, support our fundraising goals, and build relationships within the food insecurity and nonprofit sectors.
Salary range starts at $55,000 and is commensurate with experience.
DUO Program Manager – OKC or Tulsa
The Double Up Oklahoma (DUO) Program Manager will report to the Hunger Free Oklahoma Program Director. This position will work directly with the Program Director to manage and move forward key program functions including implementing and managing the DUO program, ensuring continuous quality improvement, overseeing DUO funds and supporting the Program Director in building program sustainability. Specifically, the Program Manager will support participating markets and grocers (‘firms’), provide grant management, lead grant reporting, manage sub-contracts, lead data collection and input, coordinate administrative functions in support of the DUO program, and implement necessary program processes and functions to ensure the program exceeds all national standards.
Salary range starts at $55,000 and is commensurate with experience
